Onkyo TX-SR605S 7.1 Channel Home Theater Receiver (Silver) Review

I bought the 605, because they could not afford a budget and a better sound receiver HT. I mean, this is a great product for $ 600. Search for something, you may be able to pick it up for much less. Some previous models had crossed 605-HDMI switching problems, but my model works great to send a 1080p signal from my PS3.
They are demanding an audiophile, so we recommend the music on this.
For movies, this thing blows on him. Paradigm Titans are ahead with a PSBCenter channel (speed fairly modest but it may take donated) under an old paradigm, PS1000, and wedge some old Polk speakers in the rear. I can really ratchet holds the volume and the 605 pumps out there, all my speakers can handle what they do. I just wish it was upscaling to 1080p, but this is not a big problem for me since my PS3 DVD Double all my DVDs.
The capacity of 6 and 7 channels to bi-wire uses a gesture intended – I had better speakers for it.
The rear usesterminal quality and offers several ways to assign the digital inputs.
I find the interface a bit 'uncomfortable at times. I have to make some adjustments, only one audio track to listen to two channels, for example. Moves away from what I want to use the DSP is a complete bastardization of the original path, in my opinion.
Overall, I recommend this product for the price.
